Today we took the English lesson outside and decided to mix it up a little...
Students worked in pairs and in groups of three and were challenged to work with colleagues of another group. Together, they created a drawing of a beast that aftwards they described it in a short text. They had the opportunity to put their creativity and teamwork into practice.
Mixing students with different abilities also teaches them tolerance and understanding. Pushes students with less proficiency or confidence to grow academically. This project allowed students the room to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
